Created by Casa Carpano, the company that invented the Vermouth category in 1786 in Turin, Italy, this is a sweet vermouth of the highest quality. This distinctive and powerful aromatized wine is ideal for creating the most refined, exclusive cocktails. The only antique jewel “on the rocks.” Light brown with an amber hue. Bouquet of vanilla with spicy, citrusy and dried fruit notes of almond, raisins and cloves. Well-rounded on the palate with rich vanilla taste that combines wonderfully with the bitter orange, dates, cocoa beans and saffron flavors.

Antica Formula’s complex, original and inimitable recipe has remained unchanged to this day, thanks to the passion and historical integrity of Fratelli Branca Distillerie. Created from white wines from carefully selected Italian grape varieties from Romagna, Puglia and Sicily, processed within 24 hours of receiving to protect the integrity of the fruit. The numerous aromatic plants that go into the recipe of Antica Formula are extracted by hot infusion or cold extraction methods handed down through the centuries, depending on the raw material. These methods, along with the recipe itself, constitute the secret of this product. Antica Formula stands out thanks to its unique bouquet and its unmistakable notes of the best quality VANILLA from the tropical regions of Madagascar, Papua New Guinea and Tahiti. In fact, only the beans produced by the plant, and no other derivatives, are used in the recipe. Vanilla was known in Aztec times and has appetite-stimulating and digestive properties.
