It stops a little short but this has a good impression on the palate combining density, power, freshness and a cooling element. Smooth and well balanced, just a touch of oak and tannins sticking out but the fruit is well presented and I like the cooling undercurrent. Youthful, serious and lots to like. (GH)"

More restrained and elegant now from bottle than barrel, it's still beautifully textured, has ripe, supple tannins, a great mid-palate, and one heck of a finish. It's another awesome Pomerol to drink any time over the coming 15-20 years."
